A Standout Fan Experience at the National Bank Open in Montreal
August, 2025
For the recent edition of the National Bank Open in Montreal, Tennis Canada reached out to LOKI Box Design to create a highly visible, functional, and engaging structure at the heart of the fan zone.
The objective was clear, design a space with strong visual impact that would be instantly recognizable, offer a rooftop terrace where fans could relax and overlook the entire fan zone, and include dedicated areas for ticketing and information to help strengthen fan engagement and drive sales for future editions of the tournament.
After reviewing their needs, we proposed our BNC240 unit, a solution that checked every box. One of the key advantages of this model is its modularity, the unit can be divided into two distinct zones, allowing Tennis Canada to operate ticketing and information services separately while maintaining a cohesive and premium experience.
To elevate the overall look and feel, we integrated large-scale stretch fabric visuals to create a bold, eye-catching presence, along with shade sails to provide comfortable shaded areas for visitors throughout the day. The elevated terrace quickly became a popular spot for fans to pause, take in the atmosphere, and enjoy views of the surrounding activations.
Located just steps away from the center court, the structure benefited from exceptionally high foot traffic and delivered strong visibility from every angle. The result was a seamless blend of functionality, branding, and fan experience, a true success across the board.
We’re proud to have partnered with Tennis Canada on this project and to contribute to creating memorable moments for fans at one of Canada’s premier sporting events.
