LAN ETS Montreal

Lan ETS is a student club from the École de technologie supérieure in Montréal and the organizers of one of the biggest LAN parties on the east coast, held at the Palais des Congrès from February 8 to 11, 2019.

The event features over 48 hours of play by some 2000 gamers including 500 console players vying for $40,000 in prize money (plus $1000 in prizes for the cosplay event). As part of its name sponsorship, Bell provided game servers, consoles and gaming chairs and a much-needed rest area for round-the-clock-participants. Bell is the official connectivity provider for the event, a chance to showcase its high speed internet product among some of the market’s biggest consumers of bandwidth.

The Bell brand occupied centre stage on the tournament floor, with a demo booth for its mobile phones built by Loki Box Design at one end of a giant blue carpet that defined the Bell zone. Gamers could also give the cocoon-like Loki Cube a whirl for a more intimate, immersive place to play secluded from the very crowded main room.

EGLX 2018 Toronto

It’s gaming, it’s an exhibition, it’s cosplay, too! Canada's biggest video game expo was bigger than ever! The Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX) was in its 4th year and drew over 15,000 participants and enthusiasts between March 9 and 11 to Mississauga’s International Centre for a massive celebration of gaming.

EGLX 2018 was proud to host over 150 exhibitors, a game swap with over 60 tables featuring hands-on experiences, and a first glimpse at upcoming industry trends and forecasts.

EGLX 2018 is powered by Bell Media and supported by dozens of industry partners. Loki Box Design acted as Bell’s onsite supplier of items like branded gaming chairs, the VR Loki cube and more, helping the brand connect with one of its important niche markets.
