The City of Nashville’s Loki shipping container hits the right note at IMEX America
IMEX America is the largest trade show in the US for the meetings, events and incentive travel industry. Held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas from October 11 to 14, IMEX 2022 was a four-day gathering that brought together 4300 decision makers and over 3300 exhibitors from all around the world. It’s the perfect event for networking, planning business meetings and trade shows, and learning about the latest innovative ideas in business gatherings. Any city that wants to be on the map as a business travel destination simply has to be there and needs to make some serious waves.
So naturally the City of Nashville definitely wanted to go the extra mile when it commissioned an extended pop-up unit from Loki Box Design. The custom structure was anchored at one end by a tall Loki Split 20 repurposed shipping container with its innovative diagonal hinge design in a striking high gloss black finish. Honky-tonk worthy neon branding lit up the inner surface of the modular architecture, which rose 16’ off the convention floor. On the flip side, a gold record wall pointed out Nashville’s hottest selling points in the business travel category. At the other end, a large 3D musical note caught the eye of passersby which, along with branded guitar amps, instantly positioned Nashville as Music City USA. In between, a comfortable meet & greet area was provided with all the amenities to welcome visitors, hold informal meetings, explore the Nashville offering and take a break with a refreshing beverage.
