Recreating the signature Montreal airport environment in a single kiosk

Now the Airport can travel the world, with help from a striking Loki Split 20 pop-up kiosk. For three days in November, the airport marketing team exhibited at the International Tourism and Travel show at Montreal’s Palais des Congrès, with the unit recreating the colours and patterns of the airport, making the perfect immersive environment for YUL’s marketing activation.

One of the show highlights sponsored by YUL is the Expert Zone, THE place to meet face to face with bloggers, globe-trotters and passionate travel writers for that inside scoop on a myriad of destinations. Over 400 exhibitors and partners make the show an important one on the travel exhibition circuit.

The fully-customized mobile pop-up kiosk rises to a full 16 feet in height when deployed thanks to its innovative diagonal split hinge design, giving marketers the kind of high at-a-distance visibility that helps them stand out at any trade show.

And the airport experience does not stop at the décor. The overall activation strategy was to recreate the ease and simplicity of travelling to or via YUL and provide valuable information regarding the airport along with promotional coupons and discounts on items like parking and food. As an added touch, airport restaurants served signature dishes from their menus on site.
