Best pre-match tailgater ever created for Mexico-Venezuela friendly match in Atlanta

Loki Box Design client AT&T is a sponsor of the Mexican national soccer club’s series of exhibition games against international rivals taking place in the United States. With 4 stops scheduled, and average crowd sizes of over 60,000 fans, the sports marketing tour serves to introduce international soccer to a growing audience of enthusiasts on their home US turf while showcasing the AT&T brand. This match pitted Mexico against its long-time rivals Venezuela at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Loki Box Design outfitted a Split40 marketing display booth in AT&T sky blue with the “Winner’s Zone” theme in Spanish, catering to the large US Hispanic population, many of whom are crazy for soccer.

As part of the creative experience, marketing activities on hand included: one side of the unit featured soccer-fans face painting with air-brushed make-up, while the other featured a soccer dressing room photo booth. Inside, fans could take part in a hyper realistic goal keeper VR game where they were invited to try to stop a virtual ball from scoring. A DJ booth helped build excitement turning the stadium exterior into one of the best tailgate pop-up experiences ever.
