Bauer goes big with a Loki Arched Pavilion for CONEXPO

Foundation engineers, contractors and equipment manufacturer Bauer is a major player in theglobal construction industry and, as such, absolutely needed its CONEXPO experiential marketing effort to make a major impact at North America’s biggest construction show. The company wanted to show off some very large pieces of heavy boring/piling equipment outside while also greeting guests in a sheltered interior environment, with easy circulation in between.

Loki’s mobile and modular Arched Pavilion was just the ticket to make Bauer’s brand activation a success. The dramatic arched mobile pavilion was built using 4 - 20-foot refurbished shipping containers as the base, the first time Loki has built this custom shipping container design in its double-long configuration.

Loki’s expertise in mobile architecture was in evidence, with the archway spanning a total space measuring 65’ X 40’, combining covered semi-outdoor space under the arch with open-front kiosk/hospitality space along one side and completely closed-in meeting areas along the other. The resultant combination of functionality covered all of Bauer’s needs as it met with key prospects and rolled out its offering. Covered terraces atop the shipping containers made for attractive comfortable space suitable for meetings, cocktails or other informal gatherings.
